Site Reliability Engineer

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Priceline in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our highly scalable, high-performance web-based products. You will collaborate with the Technology team to build robust infrastructure, eliminate manual work through automation, and proactively identify potential outages. This is a hybrid role, requiring two days a week in the office. You will be instrumental in supporting applications in both private and public cloud environments, transforming our architecture into a cloud-native model, and providing resources as a service to developers. Your responsibilities include reducing manual intervention, automating repetitive tasks, and monitoring the health of Priceline's commercial website. You will develop software and provide hands-on technical expertise to design, deploy, and optimize large-scale, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems. Additionally, you will focus on improving operational efficiency within our Linux-based infrastructure and production environments, managing thousands of servers and hundreds of applications across multiple geographic locations. This role involves participating in an on-call rotation to support production systems and upholding Priceline's core values of Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability, and Trust.
