Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Kolkata, Mumbai, or Delhi. In this role, you will leverage your programming skills to automate tasks and your experience with infrastructure as code practices. You will be comfortable working in a command-line interface (CLI) environment and possess a holistic view of software and infrastructure as interconnected systems. A key aspect of your work will involve deep-diving into incidents and problems to devise innovative solutions. You will be enthusiastic about learning and sharing new technologies and will be driven to resolve issues and safeguard the customer experience, always aiming to improve the systems you work with.

Your responsibilities as an SRE at Bottomline will include:

• Enhancing the observability of our applications, services, and infrastructure using tools like Open Telemetry, the Grafana ecosystem (Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Tempo), and Fluentd.
• Automating our applications and infrastructure with technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and Puppet.
• Developing CI/CD pipelines for these services utilizing Gitlab, ArgoCD, and Kustomize.
• Collaborating with Product teams to define and capture user experience through Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Minimizing the impact of service disruptions by actively participating in incident, problem, and change management programs.
