Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team in Kolkata. You will leverage your expertise in infrastructure as code, advanced programming for task automation, and comfort with CLI environments to manage complex systems. We expect you to understand the synergy between software and infrastructure, possess a deep analytical approach to problem-solving, and be passionate about learning and sharing new technologies. You will be instrumental in resolving critical issues, safeguarding the customer experience, and continuously improving our systems.

As an SRE at Bottomline, your responsibilities will include:

• Enhancing system observability using Open Telemetry, the Grafana ecosystem (Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Tempo), and Fluentd.
• Automating applications and infrastructure with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Puppet.
• Building CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, ArgoCD, and Kustomize.
• Collaborating with Product teams to define user experience through Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Minimizing service disruption impacts via robust incident, problem, and change management processes.

This is a full-time, permanent position within our Engineering - Software & QA department, with a focus on DevOps.
