Responsibilities

As an SRE at Apple, you will implement and maintain best-in-class DevOps practices. You'll tackle complex technical challenges focused on the scalability, reliability, and performance of Apple's B2B systems. A key responsibility will be managing the lifecycle of machine learning models in both production and non-production environments. You will continuously assess and improve system processes, detect anomalies, identify optimization opportunities, and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and performance. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer skilled in designing, building, and scaling modern DevOps and SRE ecosystems from the ground up. This role demands deep hands-on expertise, strong architectural thinking, and the ability to establish GitOps-driven, cloud-native CI/CD platforms using the latest technologies. You will act as a foundational engineer and technical leader, defining standards, tooling, automation, and reliability practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Passion for programming and a strong conceptual understanding of operating environments including JVM, Operating System, File Systems, and Network Protocols.
• Technical expertise, strong communication skills, and teamwork are essential for collaborating with both technical and non-technical groups within Apple and with external supply chain partners.
• Experience with designing, building, and scaling DevOps and SRE ecosystems.
• Deep hands-on expertise in cloud-native CI/CD platforms and GitOps.
