Job Duties

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to assist in the design and implementation of Release Management capabilities across complex applications. You will have a strong understanding of Release Management best practices, including code change control, automation, and results/defect management. Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining secure applications, ensuring adequate security testing, and contributing to value creation. This role requires a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset to ensure applications run 24/7 with built-in redundancy. You will build pipelines for continuous integration and deployment, create and monitor notifications for critical applications, and develop workflows for automated remediation of periodic activities. You will resolve issues in a clear and timely manner, maintain high-quality output by testing your own work, and stay up-to-date with relevant technologies.

• SRE mindset to keep the application running 24x7 with build-in redundancy
• Build pipelines for application continuous integration and deployment.
• Creating and monitoring Notification for critical application
• Build workflow to auto-remediation of periodic activities
• Resolve issues in a clear and timely manner.
• Maintain a high level of quality in your output and test your own work before passing to QA for verification.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of existing and emerging technologies relevant to the role

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline.
• 6-15 years of experience in Software development of complex applications.
• Experience with Cloud and SaaS Development: Azure and/or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure Cloud. Certified professionals are preferred.
• Experience with Cloud networking concepts such as VPC, Subnet, TGW, Peering.
• Experience with Cloud compute services like EC2, workspace.
• Knowledge of IAM and Security concepts (Policies, Roles etc.).
• Linux administrator experience.
• DevOps knowledge, including Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash/Powershell, EKS/AKS, and Helm.
• Release Management experience with Git, Artifactory, and CI/CD Pipelines.
• Experience with Identity management solutions like SAML/OpenID Connect and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with telemetry tools such as New Relic, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, considerations, and best practices.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment, actively contributing to Sprint planning and ceremonies.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Team player with a willingness to mentor junior team members and collaborate on problem-solving.
• Experienced in working with remote teams.
• Proficiency in Incident Management, Problem Management, and Monitoring.
