About the Role
Join Itron as a Site Reliability Engineer Associate where you will investigate, debug, and reproduce issues while providing fixes to ensure software operability. You will manage and maintain ITRON Monitoring Systems (ITRONS) that report on the status of tools, devices, networks, servers, databases, OS, and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault handling: Identify faults in systems/networks, respond to customer inquiries via phone/email/ticketing, and escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Maintenance activities: Monitor infrastructure, applications, and DC devices; maintain WIKI, SOPs, and technical documentation for NOC operations.
- Performance & Process: Assist in developing KPIs for Customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) using NMS, TTS, and CMS systems.
- Collaboration: Liaise with third-party suppliers, communicate updates to customers/teams, and document all interactions.
Technical Requirements
You will need intermediate knowledge of LINUX (Windows is a plus), strong debugging skills for multithreaded environments, SQL Server/Oracle database experience, and familiarity with ITIL incident management. Knowledge of PL/SQL, networking concepts (OSI layers, HTTP headers, APIs like REST/SOAP), IIS, SSL, Azure, XML, JSON, and .Net frameworks is highly valued.

- Demonstrated ability to interpret data from various sources, multitask effectively, and remain composed under pressure.
