Site Production Manager

Alstom is seeking a full-time Site Production Manager in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The Site Production Manager will drive operational excellence by ensuring productivity and efficiency metrics are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and cost-effectiveness. Key responsibilities include optimizing production processes, managing defect and quality metrics, spearheading cost-reduction strategies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The role involves close collaboration with teams across fabrication, welding, CNC metal forming, and painting departments, as well as leading continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for individuals who can:

• Ensure productivity and efficiency targets are achieved.
• Monitor and improve defect and quality metrics.
• Drive cost-effectiveness across operations.
• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee fabrication, welding, CNC metal forming, and painting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Degree in B.E/B.Tech Mechanical.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in a heavy engineering fabrication and welding industry.
• Exposure to CNC metal forming processes and painting.
• A strong understanding of productivity and efficiency metrics.
• Knowledge of defect and quality management.
• Experience in cost-effectiveness strategies.
• A proven track record in driving continuous improvement.
