Site Engineer – Rooftop Solar PV

We are seeking a dedicated Site Engineer with expertise in rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to join our team. This role involves overseeing the complete installation process, from mounting structures to final commissioning. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to approved designs, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and stringent quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating with diverse teams including technicians, subcontractors, and labor, while rigorously implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, particularly concerning work-at-height safety and daily toolbox talks. Key duties include tracking daily site progress, maintaining Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), manpower records, and efficiently closing out punch points. Effective liaison with clients, building management, and vendors is crucial for seamless project execution. The role also requires supporting inspection, testing, and pre-commissioning activities, and ensuring the safe handling and security of rooftop assets.

Requirements:

• Educational background: Diploma, ITI, or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy disciplines.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in rooftop solar PV projects.
• Rooftop Expertise: Proven experience working on metal sheet, RCC, or industrial rooftops.
• Technical Skills: Ability to interpret technical drawings and effectively manage site teams.
• Soft Skills: Strong coordination and communication abilities are essential.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively and work across multiple project locations throughout India (PAN India).
