August Design Lab is seeking a detail-oriented Site Engineer for a permanent, full-time position in Gurugram, India. This role focuses on ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by adhering to architectural drawings, meticulously verifying on-site measurements, and supervising daily progress. The Site Engineer will play a crucial role in coordinating with architects, managing daily on-site activities, and maintaining high quality standards throughout the construction process. This position is based in Madurai and requires collaboration with civil engineers, monitoring project timelines, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and project specifications. The Site Engineer will act as a key liaison, facilitating clear communication between the project team, stakeholders, and contractors, while proactively resolving any on-site challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strict adherence to architectural and structural drawings.
- Daily reporting of site progress and activities.
- Constant verification of on-site measurements against plans.
- Supervision and monitoring of daily construction progress.
- Effective coordination with architects and other project stakeholders.
- Ensuring all construction work aligns with quality standards and project specifications.
- Collaborating with civil engineers to implement design plans effectively.
- Maintaining strong quality control for materials, workmanship, and safety protocols.
- Serving as a liaison between the project team and clients/stakeholders.
- Resolving any on-site issues or challenges that arise promptly.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in overseeing on-site construction activities.
- Proficiency in structural engineering principles and practices.
- Proven ability to monitor construction progress and effectively resolve challenges.
- Strong quality control skills, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field.
