Site Engineer

Role: Site Engineer Interior Fit-Out

Location: PAN INDIA (Project based) / Hyderabad/Secunderabad

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and resolve project-related queries with designers.
• Update site initial conditions and feasibility reports for coordination teams.
• Maintain expertise in furniture, fixtures, POP, carpentry, plumbing, flooring, tiles, paint, AC, fire fighting, ceilings, partitions, etc.
• Possess proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Expertise required in layout design, color coordination, lighting plans, material selection, custom furniture, and installations.
• Verify manpower and tool requirements against project timelines; ensure material availability before labor allocation.
• Organize site logistics to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
• Prepare cost estimates ensuring appropriate resource utilization.
• Provide technical advisory for continuous process improvement.
• Troubleshoot equipment diagnostics as needed during execution.
• Create engineering plans, schedules, and communicate adjustments to crew and clients.
• Conduct preliminary site inspections and brief respective teams.
• Gather data for site reports and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Allocate tasks to laborers/vendors and supervise execution quality.
• Maintain attendance records (labor/vendor) ensuring proper compliance filing.
• Prepare material usage schedules versus available stock.
• Possess QA capabilities for feedback loops on deliverables.
• Manage Material Entry procedures including DC generation per invoices received.
• Submit supplier/vendor bills promptly to ensure timely payments.
• Capable of managing multiple concurrent projects simultaneously. Valid bike required for site travel across PAN India locations.

Desired Capabilities

• Degree/Diploma in Interior/Civil Engineering or ITI with commercial interior design experience preferred.
• Proven track record managing 2-5 parallel projects (small to medium scale) ensuring smooth execution and quality deliverables.
• Able to resolve or escalate issues promptly on-site.
• Demonstrated ability in creative problem-solving and critical thinking within commercial interiors.
