Site Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer (Contingent Worker) to join our project delivery team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. This role is responsible for providing engineering and installation solutions, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and QA standards for production, testing, and documentation. You will manage engineering tasks for large construction, fit-out, and expansion projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing engineering and installation solutions within our project delivery organization.
• Ensuring production, testing, and documentation control comply with customer specifications and QA standards.
• Delivering and managing engineering tasks for various project sizes.
• Demonstrating knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Handling installation and commissioning of chillers, pumps, panels, AHUs, and low-side activities.
• Coordinating with engineers and supervising structural, controls, and plumbing professionals.
• Designing mechanical work for industrial projects and identifying cost-saving measures.
• Collaborating with project managers to focus on deliverables and improve project financials.
• Interacting proactively with customers to understand their needs, scope, and existing systems.
• Assisting the bid phase by providing technical recommendations and reviews.
• Leading junior engineers, technicians, and apprentices as needed.

We are looking for candidates with:

• A Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of experience, or a Diploma with 6-7 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Windows and applications such as MS Projects, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
• Strong hands-on experience in HVAC, refrigeration packages, chillers, pumps, low-side piping, and HVAC engineering.
