About the Role: Site Civil Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Site Civil Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India. This role is within the Aluminium Doors & Windows / Façade / Construction / Fabrication industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing fabrication, providing production support, coordinating installation, and ensuring quality control for aluminium door, window, and façade systems. You will collaborate closely with design, civil, and site teams to guarantee seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production & Fabrication Oversight:

• Supervise the fabrication of aluminium doors, windows, and frames.
• Ensure accurate cutting, machining, and assembly according to technical drawings.
• Monitor production schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Optimize material usage and minimize waste.

2. Site Execution & Installation Management:

• Coordinate effectively with site engineers for all installation activities.
• Ensure proper alignment, fixing, and finishing of installed systems.
• Address and resolve on-site issues related to installation and measurements.
• Verify that all work is completed in accordance with approved drawings.

3. Drawing Interpretation & Technical Support:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, including AutoCAD and fabrication drawings.
• Liaise with the design team for any required drawing clarifications.
• Prepare basic fabrication sketches as needed.

4. Quality Assurance & Control:

• Inspect incoming materials and finished products for quality.
• Maintain high-quality standards throughout the fabrication and installation processes.
• Identify defects and implement prompt corrective actions.

5. Material & Inventory Coordination:

• Track material requirements and monitor usage.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely material supply.
• Maintain accurate stock records and prevent shortages.

6. Team Coordination & Reporting:

• Coordinate with civil, design, and project teams.
• Generate and maintain daily progress reports.
• Report any issues, delays, or risks to senior management promptly.

7. Safety Compliance:

• Enforce safety standards in both the factory and at the construction site.
• Monitor the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe working practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of aluminium systems, fabrication techniques, and installation procedures.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks is preferred.
• Understanding of fabrication tools, machinery, and hardware.
• Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering.
