About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Simulation Engineer with a focus on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to join our team in Gurugram, Haryana. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary and an opportunity to contribute to innovative projects.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience or internships in CFD, with a strong understanding of fluid dynamics and thermal management principles. You should be familiar with fundamental CFD methodologies, including grid generation, boundary conditions, and initial conditions setup. Proficiency with CFD software such as AVL FIRE M, Siemens STAR-CCM+, or ANSYS Fluent is required.
Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python, is highly beneficial for automating CFD processes. A foundational knowledge of aerodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics as applied to powertrain systems is essential.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Dynamics, or a closely related engineering discipline.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within the specific domain of CFD engineering.
Skills & Requirements
- Familiarity with CFD software (e.g., AVL FIRE M, Siemens STAR-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent).
- Knowledge of basic CFD methodologies: grid generation, boundary conditions, and initial conditions setup.
- Understanding of fluid dynamics, thermal management, aerodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics principles in the context of powertrain systems.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in English (fluent speaking and excellent writing) is mandatory for international collaboration and technical documentation.
- Intermediate German proficiency (B1 level) is required for effective communication with local stakeholders and team members.
- Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and contribute.
- Willingness to learn and apply scripting/automation techniques (e.g., Python) in CFD.
- Accuracy within structured workflows and proactive troubleshooting approach.
