Shopify Front End Developer

Hikedeal Digital Media Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Shopify Front-End Developer for a full-time, on-site position in New Delhi. This role is integral to building, customizing, and refining Shopify stores to meet rigorous standards for functionality, performance, and aesthetic design. You will collaborate closely with design, UX, content, and project management teams to create visually engaging, user-friendly, and conversion-optimized websites. Responsibilities include ongoing support, troubleshooting, and implementing enhancements for client projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and Shopify's template architecture.
• Implement responsive and mobile-first designs ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and plugins to expand store functionality.
• Translate Figma/Adobe XD designs into high-quality Shopify themes in partnership with design and UX specialists.
• Optimize website performance, speed, SEO, and accessibility.
• Troubleshoot issues, provide technical assistance, and ensure smooth store deployments.
• Utilize Git for version control and adhere to best coding practices.
• Manage priorities and project deadlines effectively, working both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify's Liquid template language.
• Proven experience with Shopify store setup, configuration, theme customization, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with jQuery, Git, and integrating third-party applications.
• Experience in responsive design, mobile-first development, and modern UI/UX principles.
• Knowledge of API integration and the Shopify app ecosystem.
• Understanding of SEO principles and web accessibility is advantageous.
• Experience with other CMS platforms like WordPress or Magento is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Delhi, Delhi.
