About the Role

Design Dimensions, a boutique studio established over 25 years ago (now celebrating its third decade), is seeking an enthusiastic and inspired Shopify Developer to build, customize, and maintain e-commerce stores. The ideal candidate will focus on creating high-performing, user-friendly online shopping experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Shopify stores using custom themes.
• Customize Shopify functionalities according to specific business requirements.
• Implement third-party apps and integrations seamlessly.
• Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and overall user experience (UX).
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams for landing pages and campaigns.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the Shopify ecosystem.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Maintain clean, scalable, and efficient codebases.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in Shopify development.
• Tech Stack: Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Skills: Theme customization, app integrations, responsive/mobile-first development, Git/version control.
• Mindset: Strong debugging abilities, problem-solving skills, and understanding of e-commerce best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Shopify Plus.
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs and custom app development.
• Knowledge of SEO and performance optimization strategies.
• Background in startup or fast-paced environments.
• Exposure to Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
