We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer & SEO Executive to manage, maintain, and optimize our proprietary brands as well as client websites across the Kolkata region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customize and manage Shopify themes, store settings, navigation structures, and website architecture for optimal user experience.
• Handle regular website updates, ongoing maintenance, proactive monitoring, and rapid troubleshooting to ensure 99.9% uptime.
• Execute advanced on-page and technical SEO strategies tailored for local search visibility in Kolkata and beyond.
• Optimize website speed scores (Core Web Vitals), metadata accuracy, URL structures, product page loading times, and compelling descriptions.
• Improve organic search rankings, overall user experience metrics, cart-to-checkout conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
• Upload and manage extensive catalogs including products, variants, dynamic pricing strategies, and real-time inventory synchronization.
• Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps for marketing automation, shipping logistics, advanced analytics, and other critical e-commerce requirements.
• Support and maintain WordPress websites when required to ensure a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Identify and resolve basic website performance bottlenecks and technical issues before they impact sales.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on, practical experience with Shopify development and day-to-day management operations.
• Demonstrable expertise in SEO execution, including comprehensive on-page optimization and deep technical SEO audits.
• Familiarity with core web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for custom theme modifications.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs (Shopify GraphQL/REST) and standard e-commerce platform integrations (ERP, PIM).
• Knowledgeable in website performance optimization techniques and analytics tool implementation (Google Analytics 4, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP is a significant advantage for hosting-related tasks.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent website projects.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement before they become critical issues.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable independently managing all day-to-day Shopify operations without constant supervision.
• Dedicated to continuously improving SEO rankings, site performance metrics, and conversion rates through data-driven decisions.

Compensation: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month (In-person in Kolkata).
