Shopify Developer - Ahmedabad, India

Lantern Digital Services is seeking a talented Shopify Developer with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad, India. This role involves building, customizing, and optimizing Shopify stores for a variety of client projects. You will be instrumental in developing engaging themes, implementing custom features, and ensuring peak performance across the entire Shopify ecosystem, from front-end user experience to back-end functionality.

As a Shopify Developer, you will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and clients to create Shopify solutions that are both visually stunning and highly functional, driving business growth for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify themes adhering strictly to client requirements.
• Implement innovative custom functionality using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Configure and customize existing Shopify applications or develop custom applications as needed.
• Optimize Shopify store performance for exceptional speed, seamless mobile responsiveness, and adherence to SEO best practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and essential tools to expand and enhance store capabilities.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes and designs into fully functional, responsive Shopify stores.
• Configure critical elements such as payment gateways, shipping rules, and tax settings.
• Diagnose and resolve any issues related to store performance, functionality, or user experience.
• Engage with clients to understand their unique business objectives and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed code, custom features, and system integrations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of dedicated experience in Shopify development.
• Proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and third-party app integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to customize existing Shopify themes and build new themes from the ground up.
• A solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility, responsive design principles, and mobile-first development approaches.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, essential for collaborating within a client-facing environment.
