Role Overview

Title: ServiceNow - IRM (Information Risk Management) / Policy Management Developer (Senior)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Senior Developer to join the EY Global Delivery Services (GDS). You will play an instrumental role in solving client problems using the ServiceNow platform, contributing to innovative products that address critical business needs within our Information Risk Management and Policy domains.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Configuration & Customization: Perform advanced configuration of the ServiceNow system, including creating complex workflows for service request fulfillment (requests, items, tasks) using UI Actions, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and Flow Designer.
• Automation: Utilize scripting tools (Server-side/Client-side JavaScript) to automate rote tasks and optimize processes.
• Integration Architecture: Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and internal/external systems using Orchestrate, Web Services, SOAP calls, REST APIs, and other middleware solutions.
• Data Management: Load, manipulate, and maintain data integrity across ServiceNow and external databases as required by business logic.
• Dashboards & Reporting: Collaborate with business liaisons to generate custom dashboards, home pages, Performance Analytics reports, and KPI collectors tailored to stakeholder needs.
• Analytical Development: Analyze user stories and internal procedures to improve system capabilities, automate workflow limitations, and ensure seamless delivery of ServiceNow releases.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Execute comprehensive system and integration testing using both sample datasets and live production environments.

Tech Stack & Skills Required

• Core Platform: Extensive experience with ServiceNow Implementation across modules like HR, GRC (Governance Risk Compliance), SecOps, CSM, PPM, APM, ITOM.
• Languages & Frameworks: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, AngularJS, and adherence to modern web design practices for the Service Portal implementation.
• Security Protocols: Strong understanding of Active Directory (AD), LDAP, SiteMinder federation, and Azure AD integration protocols.
• Agile & DevOps: Experience with Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) for build/deploy processes, SDLC lifecycle management, and JIRA/Version Control tools.
• Analytics: Hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow Performance Analytics modules.

Certifications & Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Mandatory Experience: Approximately 4-5 years of progressive development responsibilities specifically within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator/Developer is a plus. ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
