About the Role
As a Staff/Developer within the EY GDS-ServiceNow team, you will leverage the ServiceNow platform to solve complex client problems and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. This is a significant opportunity to join a leading firm and play a key role in its continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize the ServiceNow system, including the creation and management of workflows.
- Develop service request fulfillment workflows based on customer requirements, utilizing workflows, UI actions, client scripts, and business rules to manage requests, request items, and tasks.
- Automate routine tasks using ServiceNow scripting tools and platform functionalities.
- Execute integrations and process automation through Orchestration, Web Services, SOAP calls, and other methods.
- Gather specifications from business departments and deliver products/releases that meet defined needs. Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications documentation.
- Manage data loading, manipulation, and maintenance between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Collaborate with business liaisons to generate dashboards, home pages, performance analytics data collectors, and reports.
- Analyze user stories and internal procedures to enhance system capabilities, automate workflows, and address scheduling limitations during ServiceNow release development and delivery.
- Conduct comprehensive system and integration testing with both sample and live data.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Proven experience in integrations with third-party tools.
- Demonstrated experience in Playbook implementation within ServiceNow.
- Experience integrating with internal and external applications and systems.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow UI Builder, including building custom user interfaces.
- Implementation experience with ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) or Financial Services Operations (FSO).
- Implementation or knowledge experience with ServiceNow Technology Risk Management (TRM) and IT Risk Management (IRM).
- Familiarity with Dispute Management Systems.
Qualifications
- A college degree in a related technology field (Computer Science, Engineering, Science, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is mandatory.
- Certified Implementation Specialist - Customer Service Management (CIS-CSM) certification is highly desirable.
- Approximately 2 to 3 years of experience in a development role, demonstrating a progression of increasingly complex responsibilities.
- ServiceNow CIS certifications are considered a strong asset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Jira for managing stories.
- Knowledge of the latest features and functionalities in ServiceNow versions.
