About the Role

Careerwise, a leading talent solutions and digital transformation organization, is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Portal Developer for a prominent global consulting client undergoing a significant ServiceNow transformation. This role is critical in designing and developing user-centric portals to unify employee, HR, IT, and business services into a single digital experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong front-end development background, specializing in creating intuitive, scalable, and high-performance portals using ServiceNow’s UI Builder and related tools. This position requires a proactive individual capable of translating complex requirements into elegant, user-friendly solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, develop guided workflows, and customize components to enhance user engagement. You will play a crucial part in shaping the future of the client’s Employee Center, ensuring it is responsive, scalable, and aligned with best practices in user experience and ServiceNow platform capabilities.

Qualifications

A strong technical background with hands-on experience in ServiceNow portal and UI development is a must. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is required, with a preference for those experienced in Angular or AngularJS frameworks. Experience working with ServiceNow’s Flow Designer, Playbooks, and integrations via REST APIs is essential. A solid understanding of user experience principles, along with excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction, is needed. Familiarity with ServiceNow Employee Center, UI Builder, and portal modernization projects is advantageous. Knowledge of Now Experience UI Framework and basic UX design tools like Figma will be considered a plus. Candidates must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering solutions that prioritize performance and usability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow portals, Employee Center interfaces, and UI Builder workspaces to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
• Create responsive, intuitive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular/AngularJS frameworks.
• Develop and manage catalog items, record producers, and portal pages for seamless service delivery.
• Utilize Flow Designer to create, optimize, and troubleshoot flows and subflows supporting business processes.
• Design and implement ServiceNow Playbooks for structured case management and process automation.
• Customize widgets, components, and pages to improve portal functionality and user engagement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and translate needs into effective portal solutions.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and usability of all portal solutions, adhering to best practices and platform standards.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and deploying portal enhancements and updates.
