Vernovis, a Total Talent Solutions company, is seeking a ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Analyst II in Cincinnati, OH. This role is crucial for supporting the CMDB within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business and IT objectives, and managing IT Asset Management processes. The analyst will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ServiceNow CMDB, covering its governance, business applications and services, support groups, computer endpoints, and software packages. Key responsibilities include identifying and resolving technical deficiencies, developing and maintaining CMDB best practices, creating dynamic dashboards and reports, managing the ITSM backlog for CMDB-related stories, and executing operational projects. The role involves partnering with the ITSM team on CMDB strategy, ensuring a single source of truth for Configuration Items, managing and improving Auto Discovery processes in line with ITIL and ServiceNow recommendations, and conducting CMDB data certification exercises. The analyst will also monitor and prevent unauthorized changes, handle CMDB-related changes, incidents, and problems, enforce data integrity, and provide user training. A Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent experience is required. Proficiency in ServiceNow CSDM, CMDB & Change Management, Auto Discovery (BigFix/SNOW/ServiceNow/SCCM), ServiceNow configuration/integration/administration, Microsoft Office, ITSM processes, SDLC, agile development, ITIL, and strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include ITIL 4 certification, ServiceNow micro-certifications (Configure CMDB, CMDB Health), ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, and knowledge of the financial or insurance service industry. This is a full-time, onsite position.
