ServiceNow Administrator - Remote Opportunity

Steady Rabbit is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ServiceNow Administrator with 3-7 years of experience to join our remote team. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our ServiceNow platform to ensure seamless operations and alignment with business objectives. You'll be responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the platform, adhering to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform for optimal performance, availability, and security.
  • Manage users, roles, groups, and access controls (ACLs) in line with organizational policies.
  • Support and enhance core ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
  • Configure and maintain workflows, Flow Designer, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and data policies.
  • Handle service requests, troubleshoot system issues, and provide timely resolutions to end users.
  • Perform data management tasks including imports, exports, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams on platform enhancements and improvements.
  • Manage ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and releases, including impact analysis and regression testing.
  • Monitor system health and performance metrics, proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL practices and organizational governance standards.
  • Support integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of hands-on ServiceNow Administrator experience.
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform administration and ITSM modules.
  • Proficiency in user and role management, Access Control Lists (ACLs), Update Sets, and instance management.
  • Experience with Flow Designer/Workflow configuration.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript for scripting and customization.
  • Experience with CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and Asset Management.
  • Familiarity with system integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades and release management.
  • Exposure to Performance Analytics, Discovery, or Service Mapping.
