Service Reliability Engineer in Kolkata, India

What you’ll be doing

• Provide critical customer technical support for network, hardware, and infrastructure development initiatives.
• Engage in various technical areas including systems requirements data analysis, engineering, systems design, systems development, computer programming, systems testing and deployment, quality assurance, configuration management, and systems documentation.
• Analyze user interfaces, maintain network, hardware, and software performance, analyze workload and computer usage, maintain interfaces with outside systems, and analyze proposed system modifications and upgrades.
• Define problems and develop system requirements and specifications.
• Prepare program-level and user-level documentation, and enhance existing software systems.
• Manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and workflow management tools.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles and ensure smooth project execution.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including network device configuration and low to mid-level application interaction.
• Participate in the migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
• Provide support including project management tasks, meeting facilitation, and ad hoc duties as required.
• Execute and deliver within standardized procedures to achieve objectives and contribute to the vision of the Network Engineering team.
