Senior ServiceNow Developer Role

We are seeking a proactive Senior Software Engineer within our growing Agile DevOps team for ServiceNow. This role involves End-to-End (E2E) development of the ServiceNow landscape, with technical expertise required in applications/modules under your care (specifically ITSM or ITBM).

About You:

You will grow to become an active thought partner and solution visionary shaping technology demand within our business & IT community. We need a skilled individual proficient in ServiceNow modules, process integration across those modules, scripting techniques, and software development/delivery methods (SDLC, CI/CD).

• Preferred Experience: Knowledge of ServiceNow's ITOM, SecOps, and Performance Analytics (PA) is an advantage.

Your Accountabilities include:

• Working across key ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, SecOps/GRC & Performance Analytics.
• Serving as a solution consultant to assess functional requirements and provide the right technical solutions.
• Delivering complex enhancements in sprints within an Agile environment.
• Supporting initial implementation of new ServiceNow features for larger projects.
• Maintaining platform versions (Release upgrades) via DevOps practices.

Key Challenges & Dimensions:

• You will work on a massive ServiceNow system used by Shell with 100,000+ users globally.
• The platform currently utilizes ITSM, ITBM, and LSM modules, with future plans for ITOM & GRC/SecOps.
• Virtual collaboration in a global environment with culturally diverse teams across organizational boundaries.
• Managing multiple delivery priorities, complex integration issues, and stakeholder relations (architects, product owners, suppliers).
