Service Engineer – HVAC Applied

Johnson Controls is seeking a Service Engineer specializing in HVAC Applied services for their Kolkata, West Bengal, India location. This role focuses on providing exceptional service to HVAC PSA customers, ensuring timely attendance to chiller breakdown calls, maintaining customer satisfaction, and driving improved service delivery. The position also involves identifying and generating leads for Long-Term Maintenance (L&M) business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive HVAC PSA customer services, including timely response to chiller breakdown calls.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through improved service delivery.
• Generate leads and business for Long-Term Maintenance (L&M) contracts.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of YORK chiller compressor service and overhaul (centrifugal + screw).
• Demonstrate hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining chiller starter panels, including Variable Speed Drives (VSD).
• Adhere to company ethical practices and maintain integrity in all professional dealings.
• Contribute to maintaining a healthy Net Promoter Score (NPS) by consistently serving customers effectively.

How You Will Do It:

• Respond promptly to breakdown calls and conduct preventive maintenance services for clients.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through punctual and effective service.
• Communicate efficiently with both external customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical/Electrical engineering, or an equivalent Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
• A minimum of 6 to 7 years of professional experience in service operations within the HVAC industry.
