Service Engineer - Kolkata

Type: Permanent Job (with site travel requirements)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the client and their team for quick resolution of queries and issues at the installation site.
• Identify/report incidents, rectify them via the Support Team following the escalation matrix.
• Prepare and manage an Issue Tracker for each machine under responsibility.
• Achieve minimum breakdown time targets as per Service Manager guidelines.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics.
• 1-2 years of experience in service/support/installation for AgriTech or Industrial Automation companies (Note: 3+ years preferred per standard inference).
• Experienced in Electrical Panel Wiring and handling Mechanical Tools.
• Proficient in computer operations.
• Must reside locally at the installation site to facilitate daily travel.
• Ability to work shifts of up to 12 hours with own vehicle for daily commutes.
• Fluent communication skills: Hindi, English, and Local Languages required.

Critical Note

The selected candidate must be prepared to relocate/travel from Kolkata to Gurgaon for mandatory training before joining the client location in Chennai. This role involves significant travel between these locations daily or on a shift basis.
