Join Machinewiz as a Service Engineer & Customer Support specialist in Ahmedabad, India. You will play a crucial role in ensuring client satisfaction through expert technical support and system management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand and fulfill their evolving requirements in the field.
- Oversee the installation, reception, and configuration of servers, networks, and critical equipment.
- Monitor data communication, troubleshoot issues, and diagnose malfunctions in systems, equipment, and software.
- Manage and maintain system access controls.
- Perform remote system monitoring and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Interpret and verify electrical designs and drawings.
- Remotely configure edge controllers and new devices on-site.
- Establish seamless communication between field devices and edge controllers using various protocols, including Phyton, Modbus, OPCDA, and OPCUA.
- Analyze and log data through SQL Server.
- Execute post-installation tasks, including panel wiring and termination checks.
- Conduct on-site client visits as necessary.
- Apply innovative planning and thought processes to meet client requirements during system commissioning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven ability in deploying and troubleshooting edge controllers and web servers.
- Strong understanding of critical processes and technical requirements.
- Proficiency in defining and documenting system design specifications.
- Solid knowledge of systems design theory and methodologies.
- Expertise in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with networking technologies: TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, MPLS, Frame Relay, Wireless, Fiber Optic, Remote Access, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Gateways, Bridges, and Hubs.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Phyton.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- A commitment to quality and timely work completion.
- A proactive approach to learning project requirements quickly.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to share knowledge with junior engineers.
- Adaptability to evolving technical hypotheses and environments.
- A collaborative team player attitude.
