Full Job Description
Pahwa Group is seeking skilled Service Engineers to provide comprehensive technical support across India. Your role will be crucial in ensuring high customer satisfaction and minimizing equipment downtime through expert installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of company equipment at various customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute installation, commissioning, and start-up of equipment at customer locations.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Perform scheduled preventive and reactive breakdown maintenance.
- Offer on-site technical assistance and training to customers and operators.
- Generate accurate service reports, visit summaries, and maintenance documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams for spare parts, technical clarifications, and issue escalations.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and company service protocols.
- Identify opportunities for upselling Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), spare parts, and retrofits.
- Maintain and manage tools, instruments, and service inventory.
- Undertake travel to customer sites as per service requirements across various locations including Guwahati, Kolkata, Sikkim, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Goa, Indore, Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Chennai, Hyderabad.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation or ITI in a relevant trade.
- 2 to 6 years of experience in servicing industrial equipment, capital goods, HVAC, or automation systems.
- Proven hands-on experience in field service and customer interaction.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs and control panels is advantageous.

- Effective time management and capacity for independent work.
- Readiness for extensive travel and physically demanding field operations.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Office and service applications/CRMs.
