Server Engineer

Meditab India is looking for a skilled Server Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in Ahmedabad, India. This permanent role involves troubleshooting and maintaining Windows/Linux servers (2016/2019), including patching, updates, and regular maintenance. You will be responsible for documenting server infrastructure, assisting in technical design, capacity planning, and server upgrades. Collaboration with IT support, network, security, and architecture teams is essential. The role also requires optimizing server resource utilization and resolving potential issues.

Ideal candidates will possess fluent English and strong troubleshooting abilities. Experience in Windows/Linux server administration (Red Hat/Ubuntu preferred) is required, along with expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VMware, and Hyper-V. Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft, Google, AWS), backup solutions, and web filtering is beneficial. A solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing and topologies, is also necessary. Familiarity with ITIL principles or certification is a plus. Proficiency in Bash and PowerShell scripting is highly valued.
