Senior/Lead Java Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize test automation frameworks using tools like Karate and Java.
• Design and develop new testing tools and solutions.
• Create proofs of concept for emerging tools and technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and direction for projects.
• Manage onshore and offshore teams to ensure project success.
• Design and implement effective test automation strategies.

Skills and Requirements:

• AWS experience
• Proven experience in a Technical Lead role for diverse clients, from startups to Tier 1 banks.
• Backend Development/Services: Java (including JVM troubleshooting, memory/reference leak analysis), Java 8+, Microservices, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, REST (Backend), JSP, Kotlin (Backend-Services), C, Python (Backend-Services), NodeJS (Backend), SOAP WebServices, Hibernate.
• Frontend: JavaScript, React-Redux, Typescript, JQuery, Node.js.
• Architecture/API Governance: API Gateway, REST, Swagger, Web Services, Scala (Backend-HighPerformance), Streaming.
• Data/Database: PL/SQL, mySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora AWS, MongoDB, Dynamo.
• DevOps/SysOps: Docker (SysOps), Container Management (SysOps), Kubernetes (SysOps), Openshift (SysOps), Terraform (DevOps).
• Experience with Photon-boot, Karate Test Automation Setup, Kafka Photon, MSK, Kubernetes EKS, AWS security and authentication (C2C), Deployment with Spinnaker and Jules, Component Testing with Karate, testing with SmartSpec, Deployments with Jules, Library customization, Spinnaker jobs, manual deployments to jetae container registries and EKS, Docker and containerization, troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines (jules-spinnaker-eks), Photon microservices, and Splunk logging.
