Role Overview
CSI Companies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on building and enhancing modern, scalable applications with significant technical ownership. You will combine hands-on full-stack development with the autonomy to identify opportunities, propose solutions, develop implementation plans, and drive work through successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern full-stack applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, Express, Next.js, and Git.
- Translate broad technical problems into practical design documents and actionable Jira tickets.
- Take ownership of engineering initiatives from initial problem identification through final delivery.
- Collaborate with experienced peers to evaluate approaches, seek feedback, and incorporate reviews throughout the development process.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Express, Next.js, and Git.
- Demonstrated ability to write technical design documents and manage project lifecycles independently.
- Experience mentoring or providing guidance (preferred).
Nice-to-Haves
- Previous Technical Lead experience.
- eCommerce industry background.
