Senior Windows Infrastructure Security Engineer - Vice President - Cyber Security Engineering

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Senior Windows Infrastructure Security Engineer with Vice President level experience to join their Cyber Security Engineering team in Bengaluru, India. This role is part of a global, cross-disciplined Agile team focused on DevOps practices within the firm's Endpoint Security Team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent development, communication, and organizational skills. You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of technology solutions through methods like peer review, retrospectives, and refactoring.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on enterprise information technology experience.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Windows Endpoint Security and Automation for environments exceeding 50,000 endpoints.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Endpoint Internals.
• Experience in designing, engineering, and architecting new solutions from Proof of Concept to Production.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex Windows environments.
• Competency with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Interest in learning and working with cybersecurity technologies.
• Experience with Windows Defender/Defender for Endpoint and the latest Microsoft E5 security product set.
• Experience with Disk Encryption and Hardening Operating Systems.
• Proficiency with Splunk and SCCM/Intune.
• Experience working in a DevOps/SRE aligned team.
• Effective troubleshooting skills across hardware, OS, network, and storage.
• Experience in platform design, build, and deployment with a focus on continual service improvement.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with Unix and MacOS sysadmin is a beneficial addition.
