Neon Ideas is seeking a talented Senior Web Designer & Developer to join their team in Viman Nagar, Pune. This full-time, work-from-office position requires 4-7 years of experience.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Web Designer & Developer who can own website projects from conception to launch. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for design and robust front-end development skills, capable of creating websites that are visually appealing, user-friendly, responsive, fast, and aligned with business objectives. This role suits individuals who understand both design thinking and development execution, translating brand strategy, content, and user journeys into high-quality digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Website Design & UI/UX

• Design modern, responsive, and conversion-focused websites.
• Create wireframes, layouts, user flows, landing pages, and web interfaces.
• Translate brand guidelines into effective digital design systems.
• Enhance user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Design websites prioritizing clarity, consistency, readability, and business goals.
• Collaborate with content, strategy, and marketing teams to align design with messaging.

Website Development

• Develop responsive websites using WordPress, Elementor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related tools.
• Customize WordPress themes and Elementor layouts to meet project requirements.
• Build various types of web pages, including landing pages, corporate sites, campaign pages, and e-commerce pages.
• Ensure websites are performant, SEO-friendly, secure, and technically sound.
• Manage basic integrations such as forms, plugins, tracking codes, WhatsApp, CRM, and email tools.
• Troubleshoot website issues related to layout, responsiveness, speed, plugins, and compatibility.

Project Ownership

• Take full ownership of website projects from brief to final delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams for content, visuals, development, testing, and launch.
• Maintain high quality in design, development, performance, and user experience.
• Manage timelines and ensure project milestones are met on schedule.
• Provide guidance to junior designers and developers as needed.

Required Skills

• Significant experience in website design and front-end development.
• Proficiency in WordPress and Elementor Pro.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Ability to design clean, modern, and brand-aligned website layouts.
• Solid grasp of UI/UX principles, information architecture, visual hierarchy, and user journeys.
• Knowledge of website performance optimization, image optimization, SEO basics, and page speed improvement.
• Experience with common plugins, forms, popups, sliders, animations, and basic third-party integrations.
• Independent problem-solving skills for technical issues.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, Webflow, or custom front-end development.
• Basic knowledge of PHP and WordPress theme/plugin customization.
• Experience with GSAP, ScrollTrigger, advanced animations, and interactive web experiences.
• Understanding of technical SEO, schema, URL structure, redirects, and analytics setup.
• Experience with corporate websites, landing pages, e-commerce sites, and campaign microsites.
• Ability to create design systems and reusable components.
• Basic understanding of hosting, cPanel, SSL, backups, and website migration.
