Full Job Description
BNY Mellon seeks a Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Sanctions Team in Pune, India. This role involves consulting with internal business groups to provide comprehensive application software development services and technical support, particularly in complex scenarios. You will possess a thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, conduct test plan and test data reviews, and lead the technical design, development, and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
Key responsibilities include analyzing, defining, and documenting requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, and system interfaces. You will ensure optimal application performance through effective coding, testing, implementation, and documentation. A deep, demonstrative knowledge of both front-end (user-side) and back-end (server-side) development is essential, along with an intermediate understanding of security principles, relational databases, and architecture design. The role requires programming well-designed, testable, and efficient code, and the ability to analyze, design, and develop tests and test-automation suites.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 15-18 years of experience in software development is required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a significant advantage. You must understand the interdependence and business impact of future IT plans. Prior lead experience in selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and consulting experience with structured methodologies are necessary. Broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits is also essential.
