Full Job Description
In this Senior UX Researcher role at ServiceNow Hyderabad, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our products.
- Represent customer needs throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery to adoption, across a diverse product portfolio.
- Apply and adapt appropriate research methodologies to meet specific project requirements.
- Engage with customers to deeply understand their unique needs, defining user types, use cases, and identifying UX opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to influence product strategy and roadmaps.
- Validate product features and design directions through various testing methods, including participatory design, concept testing, and usability studies.
- Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from various studies and secondary research to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Communicate findings effectively through artifacts such as user segments, persona frameworks, jobs to be done, user journeys, and task analyses.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with AI integration into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI tools or analyzing AI-driven insights.
- Solid experience applying customer-centered research techniques to product definition and design.
- Proficiency in defining, planning, and executing research studies, including outlining objectives, goals, timelines, developing sample plans, and selecting appropriate quantitative and/or qualitative data collection methods.
- A portfolio showcasing research that has driven significant insights or improved user experiences, including research goals, methodologies, processes, your role, data visualizations, and key insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience conducting customer-centered research.
- Skilled in crafting insightful, probing questions for both technical and business-minded end-users of enterprise software.
- In-depth knowledge of user interface design, usability evaluation techniques, task analysis, and experimental design.
- Experience creating and executing online surveys and employing rich qualitative research techniques.
- Excellent presentation skills to clearly visualize and communicate technically complex topics to customers, product management, and design stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly learn new technical concepts.
