The EY GDS Assurance Digital team is focused on developing, implementing, and integrating technology solutions to enhance services for our audit clients and engagement teams. As part of EY's core Assurance practice, you will gain deep audit-related technical knowledge, alongside outstanding database, data analytics, and programming skills.

In an era of increasing regulations, audit departments face the challenge of gathering, organizing, and analyzing vast amounts of data from diverse systems and departments. Effectively managing this data volume and variety is critical and often complex. GDS Assurance Digital provides comprehensive support in solution architecture, application development, testing, and maintenance for the global Assurance service line, both proactively and in response to specific needs.

Senior UX/UI Designer - GDS Assurance Digital (Pune, India)

EY is seeking a talented Senior UX/UI Designer to join our GDS Assurance Digital practice. This role is based in Pune, India.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human-Factors, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5 - 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Management experience is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Agile practices, Design Thinking, Visual Design, Interaction Design, and Information Architecture.
• Strong understanding of design principles and ensuring user interface usability.
• Experience in iterative product design planning and development.
• Must have strong experience with Adobe XD and Figma.
• Experience creating and utilizing design systems and UI pattern libraries.
• Fluency with design tools such as Sketch, InVision, Axure RP, OmniGraffle, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and other UX/prototyping software.
• Ability to translate complex interactions into intuitive user experiences.
• Experience planning and facilitating usability testing is a plus.
• Excellent skills in typography, composition, and layout with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong conceptual thinking skills and ability to take ideas from brainstorming to completion.
• Adept with Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design tools.
• Experience creating UX deliverables including interface sketches, user/web flows, and personas.

• Act as a UX evangelist within the team.
• Clearly articulate design problems and proposed solutions.
• Proactively identify issues and present well-reasoned solutions and options.

• Champion the user and integrate customer insights throughout the creative process.

• Ability to maintain long-term client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
• Provide high-quality client services, directing engagement progress and managing staff performance.
• Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to create compelling PowerPoint decks to communicate solution architecture to diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding and experience of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication, consulting, and quality process skills.
