Senior UX Designer - Hyderabad

Experian is seeking a talented Senior User Experience Designer to join our dynamic BI Product Management team in Hyderabad, Telangana. You will play a crucial role in driving our growth ambitions by shaping and enhancing the user experience of our software applications. We foster a collaborative environment with a strong team and a clear objective: to assist Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in making informed financial decisions. Our goal is to equip lenders with superior analytics and data insights, enabling SMEs to prosper within their defined risk parameters.

Reporting to the Product Director for Software, you will collaborate closely with our Product Management and development teams to guide the evolution of our application's user interface. Your responsibilities will include the creation of intuitive functionality, wireframes, and prototypes, alongside gathering feedback throughout the product development lifecycle. This role demands strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven history of designing high-quality user interfaces for significant software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Product Management, Business Analysts, and Development teams to craft exceptional user experiences for intricate software applications.
• Generate comprehensive UX documentation, including conceptual models, wireframes, user flows, user scenarios, navigation schemas, and interactive prototypes.
• Establish and maintain internal UX standards, templates, and processes to ensure a cohesive and consistent user experience across all products.
• Oversee the development of mock-ups and functional prototypes.
• Ensure the successful implementation of designs through close collaboration with development teams.
• Provide support for operational needs by developing style guides and maintaining visual branding guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in user interface design and usability evaluation, with a preference for web-based UIs.
• Demonstrated high level of creativity and expertise in interaction design.
• Proficiency in UX design standards and workflow processes using tools such as Figma, Axure, or similar platforms.
• Strong ability to present visual designs effectively to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with usability testing methodologies and prototyping techniques.
• Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle, with some knowledge of product and project management principles.
