Senior Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team in Pune and Hyderabad. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium IDE and other advanced test automation frameworks. Your responsibilities will include performing automated API testing with tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar, and conducting thorough functional, integration, and regression testing across both web and API layers. You will analyze business and technical requirements to craft detailed test cases and automation scenarios, collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and QA leads to ensure optimal test coverage. A key part of this role involves reviewing source code, participating in code discussions, and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our automation frameworks. Proficiency with integrated development environments (IDEs) like VS Code, IntelliJ, or Eclipse is expected. To excel in this role, you should have strong hands-on experience with Selenium IDE for UI automation and automated API testing (Postman, Swagger, RestAssured, SOAP UI, etc.). You should be proficient in at least one programming language (Java/Python/JavaScript) and possess a solid understanding of functional testing, integration testing, and SDLC/STLC concepts. Experience working with source code editors and IDEs, along with a strong grasp of test automation principles, test design techniques, and script maintenance, are essential.
