Senior Technical Sales Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. This is a permanent full-time position.

The role involves managing sales inquiries, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our range of test and measurement and power system products. You will be responsible for customer engagement, technical discussions, and driving sales growth within Anand, Vadodara, and South Gujarat, with potential for travel across Gujarat and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Manage and forecast inquiry pipelines to achieve profitable and organic growth.
• Identify prospective clients and evaluate their market position to explore business opportunities.
• Articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to customers.
• Build customer awareness of our product offerings and available solutions.
• Generate new accounts, customers, and business opportunities.
• Facilitate technical discussions between OEMs and customers.
• Understand customer application requirements and propose suitable, advanced solutions.
• Lead assigned sales cases and secure orders while meeting technical specifications.
• Oversee post-order activities including timely deliveries, documentation, and payment processing.
• Submit weekly visit plans and status updates to reporting authority.
• Prepare monthly reports on active cases, sales funnels, and order projections.
• Be flexible for travel assignments within Gujarat and potentially outside if required.
• Utilize CRM platforms for account, contact, lead, and deal management, and generate performance reports.
• Communicate effectively in English, Hindi, and Gujarati via phone and written correspondence.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and adhere to company policies and laws.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years in the Test & Measurement or Power System Product industry.
• Geographic Area: Anand + Vadodara + South Gujarat.
