Position Summary: The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the operational stability, security, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of Visy’s Windows Server and hybrid identity infrastructure. The role provides technical leadership across Active Directory, Windows Server, Entra ID, and supporting infrastructure platforms, ensuring services remain secure, scalable, and aligned with business requirements. The engineer leads infrastructure initiatives including security uplift programs, platform modernization, lifecycle management, and end-of-support migrations. The engineer works closely with application, security, service provider, and business teams to provide technical guidance, resolve complex issues, and drive continuous improvement. The position also supports team capability development through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Own the operational performance, security, and lifecycle management of Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
Administer and maintain hybrid identity services, including Active Directory, Entra ID, and directory synchronization.
Provide Level 3 support and technical leadership for complex infrastructure and identity-related issues.
Lead infrastructure projects including platform upgrades, security remediation, and end-of-support migrations.
Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and operational best practices.
Identify and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities in collaboration with Cyber Security and technology teams.
Support Azure and VMware platforms to ensure availability, performance, and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain technical standards, documentation, and support processes.
Mentor engineers and contribute to team capability development.
Ensure compliance with Visy security, governance, and change management requirements.

Mandatory Experience & Qualifications:
6–8+ years of Microsoft infrastructure engineering experience within enterprise environments.
Strong expertise in Active Directory, Windows Server, and hybrid identity solutions.
Experience delivering infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and security improvement initiatives.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Experience working within structured service and change management environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable:
Microsoft or Azure certifications.
VMware administration experience.
PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
Experience supporting Operational Technology (OT) environments.
