Nutanix seeks a Senior Systems Engineer (IC5) to lead presales engagement and solution strategy for strategic Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) customers within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Your mission is to bridge complex business issues with innovative technology opportunities, acting as a trusted technical advisor.

About The Role

As an IC5 operating with significant autonomy across large transactions in Mumbai:

• You will lead sophisticated solution engagements for BFSI customers, shaping account strategy and influencing decisions through compelling architecture and demonstrations.
• Demonstrate Nutanix value via executive briefings, technical workshops, and proof-of-concept execution tailored to stringent compliance and security requirements of financial institutions.
• Partner with Account Executives to develop differentiated proposals for large-scale solution transactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Demonstrate Nutanix solutions through executive briefings, technical workshops, architecture sessions, demonstrations, and customer discussions tailored for the Mumbai market.
2. Design, size, and configure solutions addressing stringent compliance (RBI), security, resilience, availability, performance, and operational requirements of financial institutions operating in India.
3. Lead complex presales engagements from discovery through technical validation, proposal development, proof-of-concept execution to technical close.
4. Partner with Account Executives on account plans, customer-persona coverage models, opportunity strategies, and proposals for the Mumbai region.
5. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for BFSI verticals in India, connecting capabilities like operational resilience and risk reduction to business outcomes.
6. Collaborate with wider presales teams, product groups, partners, and professional services to secure technical wins across Indian markets.

What You'll Bring

• Experience: 12+ years in customer-facing technical roles (presales engineering, systems engineering, solution consulting), with significant BFSI experience and a track record engaging large financial institutions.
• Tech Stack: Deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, hybrid multicloud, data services, security, disaster recovery, business continuity, application modernization, containers (Kubernetes), microservices, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.
• Languages: Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills in English to communicate effectively with practitioners, architects, technology leaders, C-level executives, and regional stakeholders.
