Role: Senior Systems Engineer

About the Role: ScienceLogic is seeking a Senior System Engineer located in Hyderabad to drive the development, automation, and optimization of its hybrid cloud monitoring solutions. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our AI/ML-powered hybrid cloud monitoring platform,SkylarOne.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, resilient system update software to support the SkylarOne hybrid cloud monitoring platform with latest software versions.
• Drive SkylarOne platform modernization initiatives such as OS migrations and technology stack upgrades.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues across distributed environments, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability by analyzing key metrics and implementing best practices.
• Participate in Agile Scrum teams to drive continuous improvements in system operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong experience with AI-driven software development practices.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems engineering.
• Strong expertise in Linux administration and system/network troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in automation tools (dnf, yum) and package management.
• Advanced scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Familiarity with Golang is desired but not mandatory; experience with SQL Databases required.
