Role Overview
The Senior Staff Engineer will lead architectural design and planning for an enterprise application, collaborating with stakeholders to drive strategic vision. Responsibilities include modeling customer requirements into new features, defining product innovation roadmaps, and creating high-level designs for microservices.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive technology roadmap and long-term technical vision.
- Author design documents for cross-module microservices architecture.
- Define key performance parameters and reporting mechanisms.
- Develop simulations to validate functional and technical breakthroughs.
- Incorporate certification/compliance into product designs.
- Lead Proof of Concepts (PoC) for new technologies to enhance developer experience.
Requirements
- 8+ years in software development with 1+ year as an architect or Staff Engineer.
- Expertise in scalable microservices, low-latency queuing systems, and REST API design.
- Strong background in major architecture patterns, performance tuning, observability, and cloud deployment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field from a premier institute.
