About the Role

We seek a highly experienced hands-on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for our senior individual-contributor role within Toku's Infrastructure team. Reporting to the VP of Infrastructure, you will help set technical direction and engineering standards while solving complex challenges in cloud-agnostic environments with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.

Your Responsibilities

• Azure Cloud Architecture: Lead design and evolution of secure, scalable Azure infrastructure including Landing Zones, governance, networking, identity, security guardrails, and reusable patterns.
• Multcloud Strategy: Apply architectural principles across Azure and AWS to ensure scalability, resilience, security, and operational effectiveness.
• AWS Platform Architecture: Evolve our multi-account AWS estate covering networking, IAM, security, and core production services.
• Technical Direction & Leadership: Act as a senior technical authority for infrastructure decisions while mentoring engineers through hands-on collaboration.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Own Terraform-based provisioning with reusable modules, consistent multi-environment patterns, and policy controls.
• Kubernetes Management: Architect production environments across AKS and EKS ensuring scalability and security.
• CI/CD & GitOps: Design delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Flux with automated testing and version control integration.
• Observability: Build monitoring solutions using Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Cortex, Loki, and Azure-native services for dashboards, alerting, and integrations.
• Automation & Scripting: Utilize Python to reduce repetitive work and integrate infrastructure tooling.
• Reliability & Security: Engineer high-availability solutions with embedded security guardrails and disaster recovery capabilities.

We'd Love to Hear From You If

You have 8–14 years of relevant cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering experience operating at Staff/Principal levels. Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure (Landing Zones, governance), AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM), Terraform (modules, state management), Kubernetes (AKS, EKS), CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), and observability stacks is required.
