Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced IT support and troubleshooting for hardware and software across various systems, including computers, servers, and manufacturing equipment.
- Assist in the design, configuration, and maintenance of local area networks (LAN) and wide-area networks (WAN) within the plant, ensuring network security and connectivity for manufacturing processes.
- Oversee the maintenance, updates, and upgrades of IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and the application of the latest security patches.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams and plant management to deliver tailored IT solutions that support operations, minimize downtime, and streamline processes.
- Offer high-level end-user support, efficiently resolving software, hardware, and network access issues to maintain staff productivity.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for IT systems, network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and user guides.
- Lead and support IT-related projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and new hardware installations, ensuring alignment with company and manufacturing goals.
- Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers for procurement, troubleshooting, and support of third-party systems.
- Ensure the manufacturing plant's IT infrastructure adheres to all relevant security protocols and compliance standards to protect operational data.
- Train and mentor junior IT support staff, share best practices, and conduct end-user training sessions on IT tools and security.
