Senior Solutions Engineer - Access Governance & Cloud Security

Saviynt is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic sales organization. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with Sales Directors and Regional VPs to drive the adoption of our integrated suite of Access Governance and Cloud Security solutions across new and existing accounts. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of vendor solutions, industry best practices, and technology integration to deliver compelling functional and technical solutions for sophisticated customer engagements.

Your responsibilities will include providing expert technical guidance to prospective and existing customers through in-depth technical discovery, crafting comprehensive responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs), and successfully delivering Proof of Concepts (POCs). You will also contribute significantly to Product Marketing initiatives by developing white papers, solutions briefs, webinars, and blog content. This role requires a proactive and independent individual who can effectively drive opportunities to closure and positively impact revenue.

Furthermore, you will mentor and coach junior Solutions Engineers, sharing best practices in sales strategy, customer influence, scope management, and technical presentation execution.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Develop and deliver persuasive technical presentations showcasing enterprise solutions, highlighting ease of configuration, architectural simplicity, and intelligent workflows to engage customers and demonstrate strong presentation skills.
• Clearly articulate the business and technical value of our solutions, addressing prospective customer requirements and inquiries effectively.
• Conduct needs assessments, provide expert consultation, design technical solutions, and offer customer support in collaboration with the Saviynt team.
• Partner with sales and the global bid team to meticulously respond to customer inquiries generated by RFx processes.
• Assist the global bid team and collaborate with product management in the curation and refinement of RFx responses.
• Proactively and independently manage top regional opportunities in communication with sales directors and management, driving them to successful closure.
• Consistently provide valuable solution feedback and competitive intelligence from the field to Saviynt's product management, solutions strategy, and marketing teams.
• Onboard and coach Solutions Engineers on solution demonstration, RFP response strategies, technical overviews, POC scope management, and execution.
• Be prepared for up to 60% travel across India.

What You Bring:

• Deep domain expertise in Privilege Access Management, Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Application GRC, and/or Cloud Security.
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of proven experience in Solutions Engineering, with a track record of success in Cloud Security, Privileged Access Management, Application GRC, and/or Identity Governance and Administration solutions.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent knowledge demonstrated through technical certifications from ISACA, (ISC)², AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Security Engineer, etc.
• Superior communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills, enabling rapid needs assessment and effective solution selling to sophisticated clients.
• Demonstrated ability to own and manage technical team relationships within existing and prospective opportunities.
• A self-sufficient work ethic with a high degree of autonomy and a passion for contributing to a dynamic, startup-like environment.
• Exemplary technical skills, including the ability to configure solutions and rapidly troubleshoot in the field.
• Extensive experience in the Identity Governance and Administration domain, with a strong understanding of concepts such as Identity Life Cycle Management, Entitlements Management, Access Request, Workflow, Policy and Role Management, Access Certification, Audit, Reporting/Analytics, and Deployment Scenarios.
• Proficiency in database querying within a relational database environment, including MySQL and Elastic Search.
• Experience with REST API, PowerShell, and GraphAPI.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols and standards such as SAML, OAuth/2, SCIM, OpenID, WS-Trust, SPNEGO, x.509, SPML, Kerberos, REST, JSON, and others that facilitate Single Sign On (SSO) and identity federation.
• Understanding of data governance concepts and compliance regulations including GDPR & CCPA.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and security frameworks such as SOX, NERC-CIP, HIPAA, Cobit, Center for Internet Security (CIS), Cloud Security Alliance, NIST, PCI, etc.
• Familiarity with AzureAD, Okta, JumpCloud, OneLogin, PingDirectory, Active Directory, eDirectory, Oracle Internet Directory, Radiant Logic, and other Cloud/LDAP/Virtual directories.
• Basic understanding of networking technologies including HTTP, TCP/IP, firewalls, and encryption.
• Exceptional communication and relationship skills, encompassing verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
• Strong skills in creating business and technical documents, such as scope definitions, proposals, architecture diagrams, and network diagrams.

Security and Privacy Compliance:

If required for this role, you will complete mandatory security and privacy literacy and awareness training during onboarding and annually thereafter.
