Senior Solutions Engineer

About the Role

Github is expanding its Customer Engineering team for India with a remote-first approach. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will act as a trusted advisor to GitHub customers across the SAARC region, helping them maximize value from the GitHub platform through deep technical expertise and cloud knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in pre-sales activities with large Enterprise customers to align business partners and drive solution selection for GitHub products including GHAS, Copilot, and agentic workflows.
• Lead technical discovery, demos, validation workshops, POCs, and architecture reviews tailored to customer use cases across the SDLC.
• Partner with Account Executives, Customer Success teams, and Sales Leaders to drive acquisition, expansion, and long-term success in India and APAC.
• Educate customers on AI-driven software development capabilities and application security strategies.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with 8+ years of experience in technical consulting or consultative selling (or relevant degrees/experience). Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, GitHub Enterprise, and AI-powered developer workflows is essential. Ability to travel up to 40% within SAARC/APAC region.
