About the Role

Mepa2z Llp is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our FinTech engineering team in Bengaluru. You will lead the testing strategy for our web, mobile, and API financial applications, focusing on reliability, scalability, and regulatory compliance. You will build automation frameworks from the ground up, manage CI/CD pipelines, and conduct rigorous Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Selenium, Appium, and JUnit.
• Implement AI-driven and scriptless automation to optimize test coverage for financial workflows.
• Manage QA environments and integrate automated suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop mock services for third-party integrations and perform complex SQL data validation.
• Provide technical mentorship and drive engineering quality standards across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of professional experience in SDET, QA Automation, or Software Testing.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Ruby and advanced SQL skills.
• Strong background in building automation frameworks and managing test infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of BDD/TDD methodologies and cloud-based testing.
• Prior experience in FinTech, banking, or wealth management is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
