Senior Software Programmer Engineer

Rockwell Automation in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is seeking a dynamic Senior Programmer Engineer with expertise in Full Stack Development. This hybrid role requires 10+ years of experience with MATLAB, SQL, Java, and Python. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing software solutions for data analysis, simulation, and enterprise applications, working within component engineering and product lifecycle management teams. Your contributions will involve algorithm development, database management, and building scalable backend services.

As a Senior Programmer Engineer, you will report to the Lead Analyst-Component Engineering and will be instrumental in enhancing data management processes for Component Engineering databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will build and maintain frontend and backend applications using Java and Python, develop advanced data algorithms with MATLAB, and create robust SQL database solutions including stored procedures and schemas.

Key responsibilities include implementing web data extraction and processing solutions, designing interactive Power BI dashboards for data visualization and analytics, and managing the end-to-end tool development lifecycle. You will also leverage AI/ML expertise to implement and productionize models for large-scale data extraction, build intelligent automation bots, and design and implement data ingestion and processing workflows for Data Lake environments.

The ideal candidate will have a B.Tech/Engineering degree in Computer Science, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret complex data for actionable insights. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential for translating business requirements into technical solutions. You should be comfortable working with diverse technologies and learning new tools quickly.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Java, Python, MATLAB, and SQL.
• Expertise in Power BI for dashboard and report development.
• Experience with Data Lake architectures (e.g., Azure Data Lake, AWS S3, Hadoop).
• Familiarity with cloud-based Data Lake solutions and data governance.
• Hands-on experience in data modeling and optimization.

• Knowledge of web scraping and data extraction techniques.
