Senior Software Engineer V

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails) to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. As part of this role, you will contribute to a globally trusted real estate product used by thousands of agents across Australia and New Zealand.

• You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and testers to deliver high-quality solutions addressing user needs.

• Our projects are well-documented, ensuring clear requirements. You will develop both front-end applications using React (and legacy Backbone.js) and robust backend APIs powered by Ruby on Rails.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience with Ruby or Rails (API focus preferred).
• Proficiency in Modern JavaScript (TypeScript strongly encouraged).
• Solid SQL skills, specifically MySQL/MariaDB.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS standards.

• Desirable Skills:
• React framework knowledge; experience with Angular or Vue.js is a plus.
• Backbone.js (Marionette).
• TypeScript and TDD practices.
• AWS cloud infrastructure experience.
• Design and development of Rest APIs.
• Mobility app development using React Native.
